Rachel Schutze is a Principal in the Geelong office which
she heads in conjunction with the Werribee visiting office,
practising predominantly in WorkCover and common law
claims.
Rachel spent several years at Maurice Blackburn, working in the
areas of public liability and major projects, before being
transferred to the Sydney office. She then joined another national
law firm where she specialised in insurance litigation, including
public liability, product liability, catastrophic injury and
asbestos litigation cases.
Rachel is a member of the Australian Plaintiff Lawyers Association.
Her community work includes; serving as a board member of Norlane
Community Centre - a centre which aims to work with and assist the
community of Norlane and its surrounding suburbs and; is a
member of The Geelong Art Gallery Board.
Rachel is married with three children and has a special
community interest in the development of pre-school literacy in
disadvantaged communities.
